About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (06 : 30 - 17 : 00 or 10 : 30 - 19 : 00)

Experience : 5 years preferred, may consider less with strong experience in specified areas

License : TX RN License

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Experience in Trauma Level II facility

Description :

Hybrid schedule rotating between 06 : 30 - 17 : 00 or 10 : 30 - 19 : 00.

Operating Room RN needed with a preference for 5 years of experience.

Consideration for candidates with strong experience in general, neuro, ortho, trauma, and robotics specialties.

Fast-paced operating room environment.

Call and holiday coverage required.

Skills required include administration of blood and blood products, various surgical procedures, code response, infection control, and wound management.

Candidates must have experience with both general and specialty surgeries including laparoscopic and robotic procedures.

Knowledge of safety protocols and handling of surgical equipment is essential.

Strong communication and team collaboration skills are vital for success in this role.
