Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An educational setting seeks a reliable Substitute Paraprofessional to provide support across grade levels. The successful candidate will assist in classroom settings, work with students individually or in small groups, and help implement instructional activities under teacher direction. State?mandated fingerprints must be completed.
Responsibilities :
Assist certified teachers by reinforcing lessons and supporting student learning activities.
Provide supervision and support during classroom, recess, transitions, and other school settings.
Work with students who require additional assistance, including those with IEPs or in remedial settings.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and work quality.
Follow school protocols for safety, behavior management, confidentiality, and student support.
Qualifications / Desired Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in education preferred.
Experience working with children or students in educational, childcare or tutoring settings preferred.
Must obtain and pass required state fingerprinting and background clearance.
Strong communication skills with ability to engage students, remain patient, and adapt to different learning needs.
Ability to follow teacher plans, work independently, and handle classroom dynamics professionally.

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.00 to $47.00. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
