Job Summary

The LPN / GPN administers direct patient care to assigned patients under the direction and supervision of a GN / RN. Works collaboratively with all members of the patient interdisciplinary care team. Participates in the care and teaching of the patient. The LPN / GPN observes, evaluates, records, and contributes information to aid the RN / GN in developing the patient plan of care based on age-specific criteria and current patient health care needs.

Job Specification

• Minimum Education Required
• Must be a graduate of a nursing program.
• Minimum Experience Required
• Prefer 1 year of medical surgical experience, but not required.
• Licensure / Certification Required
• A current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and certification of basic life support.
• Completed IV start class.
