Site / Civil Staff Engineer

Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Site / Civil Department in our Raleigh or Charlotte, NC or Danville, VA office. As part of our site / civil team, you will make an impact in the community by helping our clients solve their most challenging problems. Projects will include the design of diverse land development projects.

Responsibilities

• Site / civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.
• Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
• Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
• May also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.
