Security Officer - Tech Media Patrol

As a Security Officer - Tech Media Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout the premises to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, interacting with staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $16.56 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Monday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tuesday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Friday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Saturday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sunday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and assets.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, both inside and outside, as required by site protocols.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential threats to Allied Universal management and / or local authorities, as appropriate.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, helping to deter unauthorized access to sensitive areas.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address concerns and provide information related to security-related matters.
  • Support the implementation of technology company protocols and procedures, adapting to changes as required by the dynamic environment.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities during patrols using Allied Universal reporting systems.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
