Senior Wall Panel Designer - USA REMOTE

Structural Component Systems, Inc. of Fremont, NE is actively seeking a wall panel designer responsible for providing designs in MiTek software for residential and / or commercial structures. This exempt-level position works can be remote anywhere in the USA, or work from our Omaha, Nebraska Office or Urbandale, Iowa Office, with typical hours Monday - Friday, 45 hours / week. Very competitive wages offered based on experience.

WALL PANEL DESIGNER

Job Description

Responsible for converting sales orders into mechanical drawings (including engineering, approval drawings, layouts and shop cutting) used for the manufacturing and assembling of products through effective communication, cooperation and technical ability by performing the following duties :

• Provides wall panel designs on all assigned jobs (layouts, cutting lists, material lists, files, etc.) according to the plan and bid specifications, quote, and shipping restrictions using MiTek software (SE Version)

Majority of work will be commercial design, focusing on multi-family structures

Minimum Qualifications : Three years designing commercial wall panels in MiTek.
