Business Development Manager to spearhead the introduction of a new flow meter into targeted market segments. The initial targeted market segments are Biopharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical and Medical Device manufacturing (Knowledge and experience of other industrial markets : Chemical, Food & Beverage, Water and Waste, Agriculture, Automotive, Oil & Gas is a plus) . Working with Sales and Engineering, the role of the Business Development manager is to :
- Develop the sales channel both direct to end-users and to on-board new channel partners
- Champion the product both internally and externally to the organization
- Drive sales at key accounts
- Identify key applications within targeted end-markets
- Provide hands on technical customer support
- Develop marketing collateral and drive the promotional strategy
- Understand and communicate the competitive landscape
- Continue to develop the differentiation and value proposition
- Identify product line enhancements
