We’re seeking an experienced Paralegal to be a key member of our team, partnering with attorneys on sophisticated real estate and business Law matters.

We help entrepreneurs and investors execute with confidence across business and real estate matters, combining meticulous transactional work with proactive, business-centered counsel. Our team culture prizes responsiveness, clarity, and results. As a Paralegal with KEW Legal, you will be the operations engine that turns intent into closed files : clean title, correct entities, accurate wires, and pristine post-closing.  You’ll help drive flawless client service, streamlined workflows, and on-time deliverables while advancing your career in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

If you’re organized, proactive, and precise—and eager to grow with a firm that values professionalism and impact—we want to hear from you.

Compensation :

$20 - $25 hourly based upon experience

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct client intake interviews to gather facts and support accurate case development
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients and counterparties, ensuring timely, professional communication and updates
  • Draft and revise legal documents and correspondence for attorney review, including redlines, demand letters, cease-and-desist letters, and contract term sheets
  • Manage corporate and business matters with minimal supervision : entity formations and conversions, EINs, amendments, and full corporate governance (operating agreements, resolutions, consents, minute books, and registers)
  • Prepare and file regulatory and business submissions (e.g., trademark applications, nonprofit registrations, liquor licenses) and track agency follow-up
  • Run and analyze title, municipal lien, tax, and UCC searches; coordinate surveys and curative actions; assemble closing binders
  • Drive real-estate closings end-to-end : prepare checklists, manage estoppels and payoff statements, coordinate escrow and wiring, schedule signings, and complete post-closing recordings
  • Support commercial lease and purchase / sale transactions with diligence tracking, document versioning, and organized signature packets
  • Maintain matter discipline; coordinate service of process, keep digital files organized, and monitor all deadlines and reminders in the practice system
  • Provide targeted administrative support as needed, including call triage and filing aligned to active matters and calendar priorities

Qualifications :

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills
  • 3+ years’ experience in Florida real estate closings, title, and entity formation for businesses
  • Spanish / English bilingual is strongly preferred
  • Mastery of closing timelines, checklists, and attention to detail
  • Experience managing client relationships and handling confidential information
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and modern legal-tech workflows, including PDF editors, e-signature platforms, practice-management and CRM systems, e-filing portals, structured calendaring / ticklers, and document automation / templates
  • Familiarity with legal document management systems and case management software is preferred
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities to address emerging issues, workflow bottlenecks, and time-sensitive requests
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, court officials, and internal teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building client relationships and effectively communicating with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
