Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Retail Pro point-of-sale (register) system
- Process sales, including cash & credit card transactions
- Restock Inventory
- Provide camp information and directions to guests' questions.
- Provide a friendly and enthusiastic environment with a genuine interest in our guests
- Reduce inventory shrinkage with diligent stock management and loss prevention strategies
- Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
- Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
- Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications
Minimum age : 18+General computer skillsWilling to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communicationPhysical & Practical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 9 hours daily and ability to lift / move up to 40 poundsComplete the Annual Health and Medical Record , including height / weight guidelinesHousing : 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp | Uniform : Summit Staff Uniform | Work Hours : 45-55Desired Traits
