Receiving Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Receiving Specialist to manage and process incoming shipments of materials and products with precision. The ideal candidate will inspect, receive, and record incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail with high-volume and small parts.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and complete shipping carrier paperwork upon receipt.
- Unload and unpack materials and products.
- Inspect contents for damage or contamination.
- Verify material quantity and quality against purchase orders and invoices.
- Update the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with receipt information and status.
- Correctly label incoming materials and store them in their designated place.
- Ensure receipt of materials, and stock the incoming items in an organized and timely manner.
- Follow department SOPs and work instructions, adhering to receiving standards.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control processes.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Cross-train in other areas to learn Supply Chain processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
1-2 years of receiving experience in distribution or manufacturing warehouse environments.Proficiency with ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.Experience with high-volume receiving.Strong computer skills.Experience in material handling, inventory control, packaging, and using RF scanners.A proactive attitude, reliability, and the ability to stay productive during slower periods.Work Environment
Work in a new, spacious warehouse that may still be a bit unorganized but offers a pleasant environment. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM.

This is a contract to hire position based out of San Diego, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
