Our client — a respected civil engineering firm founded in 2009 and headquartered in suburban Atlanta — is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) with a strong background in land development to join their team in a leadership capacity. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to grow their influence, mentor junior staff, and support business development while managing technically complex design projects.
 What You’ll Do

• Lead civil design projects focused on grading, stormwater, hydrology, and water/sewer infrastructure.
  
• Oversee and mentor a team of younger engineers and designers.
  
• Collaborate closely with clients, municipalities, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  
• Support business development efforts and help drive company growth.
  
• Analyze and interpret survey data, geotechnical reports, and environmental documents to develop effective design strategies.
  
• Prepare technical documentation including grading plans, drainage reports, utility layouts, specifications, and bid packages.
  
• Perform storm drainage and water quality calculations, utility flow analysis, and cost estimating.
  
• Review project progress, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide technical guidance throughout all project phases.
  

 What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (Georgia preferred)
  
• Minimum 7 years of civil engineering experience, with a strong focus on land development
  
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  
• Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring junior engineers
  
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
