Large Hospital in the North Texas area is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
- Must hold RCIS, ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) / TMB Radiography or imaging credential!
Willing to cross train an EP tech or RN that scrubs Cardiac cases.
Shift Info : Full time Day shift
10 hour shifts,7a-5 : 30p, 4 shifts a week
Your day off will not be the same day each week
On-Call : STEMI call required, approximately 8-9 days of call per month including one weekend. Holiday call required, rotates on an annual basis, at least one major (Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's) and one minor (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day).
Job Details :
The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, under general supervision, helps Physicians during catheterization / electrophysiology lab procedures.
Prepares room and equipment, instructs patients, monitors patient's condition and provides routine and emergency patient care during procedures.
Contributes to the orientation and training of other team members.
Help in daily, monthly, and / or quarterly quality control initiative through auditing and reporting.
Cases : Coronary- Cardiac catheterization, PCI, Impella / IABP, PFO, Vascular- Peripheral angiogram and intervention, thrombectomy, fistulagram, EVAR, Limflow revascularization, EP- Ablation (afib, flutter, SVT, VOM), device placement (pacemaker, defibrillator, CCM, loop recorder), LAAO

2 years Cath, EP, or Vascular experience preferred .
