POSITION PURPOSE
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the development, planning, and execution of maintenance programs that ensure the efficient operation of all plant equipment, building systems, grounds, and production processes. This role ensures optimal functionality, reliability, and safety across the facility.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree or equivalent experience with strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Minimum of five years of management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the breaded / battered protein industry. Experience working with ammonia, refrigeration systems, and protein-processing equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and changing operational needs. Strong multitasking abilities with skill in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and quickly resolve issues. Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work effectively with personnel at all levels inside and outside the plant. Basic understanding of refrigeration principles and applications. Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Excel and Word. Familiarity with CAD capabilities and PLC-based equipment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT Role may require sitting, standing, and walking on level surfaces for extended periods. Some tasks may involve reaching above shoulder height, bending, or lifting items up to 40 pounds. Must use proper lifting techniques and follow all safety protocols. Occasional work within manufacturing areas may require personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection.
