Exciting Registered Nurse Opportunity - Neurological Recovery Unit

Schedule Details

4x12.0 hour shifts

Day / Evening / Night rotating shift schedules

Weekends required

Holidays / On-Call / Callback requirements

Charge duties per unit needs

Position Overview

Exciting opportunity to work with interdisciplinary team

Care for adult and pediatric patients recovering from brain injuries including oncologic surgery, falls, strokes and motor vehicle injuries

Work in a brand new, state of the art unit

Provide clinical and emotional encouragement to patients and their families while they gain back independence

Help patients learn new skills

Share in the satisfaction of patients and families regaining control of their lives after serious injury

Requirements

Two (2) years experience

RN License (ONLY NY Licenses are accepted at this time)

BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

Telemetry experience required

Recent pediatric background required

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

PEAR (Pediatric Emergency Assessment Response)

ACLS (AHA ONLY)
