About The Position

Job Title : Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist

Profession : Therapy / Rehabilitation

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day shift, 4x10 hours

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year

License : Alaska license preferred, pending license accepted

Certifications : BLS, NBCOT

Must-Have :

Short Term Acute Care Experience

Epic Experience

Description :

We are seeking an Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist.

The position requires a commitment to working weekends, with approximately 2 weekend days per month.

Candidates must have experience in acute care settings.

Other preferred skills include adaptive equipment assessment, cognitive assessment, and safety and injury prevention.

The role involves working with patients who have various diagnoses including neurological disorders and orthopedic conditions.

The facility has a total of 56 staffed beds.

The therapist will be part of an interdisciplinary team.

Strong communication skills are essential.

The work environment is conducive to professional growth and development.

All required certifications must be kept current and valid throughout the employment term.

Travelers must be willing to adhere to facility policies and procedures.

Please ensure all time off requests are submitted as required.

Candidates should be comfortable with the daily responsibilities in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical.

Commitment to patient safety and quality care is a priority.

Handling various patient cases and adapting to the needs of the unit will be essential.

References from supervisory roles covering recent employment are required.
