Job Description

Join our dynamic team to assemble unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for Department of Defense customers. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Perform electrical wiring and testing of products to ensure functionality and quality.

Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.

Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects or irregularities, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.

Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and company guidelines.

Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning units as needed.

Document assembly procedures, modifications, and quality checks for traceability.

Essential Skills

3 years of experience in assembling electro-mechanical systems.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant vocational training preferred.

Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes and techniques.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Valid US passport.

Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Technical certifications or relevant vocational training in electro-mechanical systems.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse / production environment with dedicated workstations. The position operates Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Stafford, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00 / yr.
