Job Summary :

A Hospital in Vermont is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role involves providing direct patient care using the nursing process within the hospital's standards and policies. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications :

Experience :

Experience delivering age-specific, direct patient care.

Min 2 year of experience is the minimum requirement.

Proficiency in utilizing the Nursing Process.

Experience with the CPSI / Evident EMR system is preferred.

Licensure & Certifications :

ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications are required. These must be active prior to the start of the contract or have a booked course at the time of clinical orientation.

A valid state RN license is required upon acceptance.

Skills :

The ability to provide nursing care within the framework of departmental standards.

Strong leadership skills, including the ability to delegate work to other staff members.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

Adherence to all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.

Additional Information

Schedule : Day shifts, with a flexible schedule of 3x12-hour or 4x10-hour shifts.

On-Call : Required every 8th weekend and 2-3 weeknight calls in a 4-week schedule.
