Surveillance Technician

As a Surveillance Technician you will be utilizing technology and thinking critically to provide security for Rural King's assets.

Make a meaningful impact and drive positive change in the lives of our customers and the communities we serve.

Monitor camera systems for occurrences of theft, productivity issues, and security policy violations.

Assist Rural King associates with the use of the camera systems and reviewing video.

Use specialized reports to review financial transactions to identify discrepancies in a retail environment.

Maintain the alarm listing for all Rural King locations and assist associates in accessing their alarm.

Ensure communication with store personnel and increase awareness around Rural King Loss Prevention Initiatives.

Conduct package checks of associates leaving the Store Support Center.

Maintain accurate records and reports on daily security incidents.

Support stores and customers with questions about store policies.

Review video footage of significant events and provide details to management, human resources, and / or law enforcement.

Maintain a level of confidentiality when dealing with and sensitive information pertaining to Rural King or its Associates.

Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.

The pay range for this position is $15.25 - $16.50 per hour and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay in compliance with applicable laws.
