ARQ General Contracting is seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, and client expectations while driving projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight : Manage day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are built safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Coordination : Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and site staff while fostering positive relationships with architects, engineers, property managers, and clients.
• Quality Control : Monitor workmanship and enforce company standards through inspections and adherence to drawings, specifications, and building codes.
• Safety Leadership : Implement and enforce site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and company standards, maintaining a clean and hazard-free worksite.
• Scheduling & Documentation : Develop and update project schedules, maintain daily logs, RFIs, and punch lists, and collaborate with project managers to forecast labor, materials, and equipment needs.
• Problem Solving : Anticipate and resolve field conflicts to minimize delays and additional costs.
• Client Interaction : Represent ARQ professionally, ensuring client satisfaction through clear communication and responsive leadership.
