JK Executive Strategies is proud to partner with New York State’s largest owner and operator of manufactured housing communities, retail space, and self-storage units in search of a Director of Construction & Development to join its team.

The Company is seeking a hands-on, experienced Director of Construction & Development to oversee all aspects of its real estate development and construction activities—from site acquisition and due diligence through design, entitlement, budgeting, construction, and final project delivery. This leader will provide strategic direction, technical expertise, and operational oversight to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals for quality, value, and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

Development Leadership

• Lead the full development lifecycle for new and redevelopment projects, including feasibility, design coordination, entitlements, and construction.
• Assist with due diligence and underwriting for potential acquisitions and development opportunities.
• Coordinate with municipalities, engineers, architects, and consultants to obtain required permits and approvals.
• Evaluate project feasibility, schedule, and pro forma assumptions to ensure sound investments.
