We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Business Insurance Account Manager to join our team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and grow a portfolio of middle market clients, utilizing your extensive knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of insurance products, markets, and marketing techniques, along with proficiency in agency management software such as Sagitta and Image Right. This role requires strong negotiation skills, placement process management expertise, and a shared commitment to our company values; Integrity, Collaboration, Passion, Innovation, and Accountability.

Responsibilities :

As a Sr. Business Insurance Account Manager, you will be responsible for :

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of middle market clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and exceeded.
  • Utilizing your deep understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance to advise clients on the best products and services for their needs.
  • Negotiating effectively with insurance carriers to secure the best terms and conditions for our clients.
  • Managing the placement process, from initial request to policy issuance, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our clients.
  • Utilizing agency management software such as Sagitta and Image Right to manage client information and track progress.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure a high level of service is provided to all clients.
  • Continually updating your knowledge of insurance products, markets, and marketing techniques to ensure you are providing the best possible service to our clients.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Sr. Business Insurance Account Manager role will have :

  • 7+ years insurance experience in an agency or brokerage environment focusing on middle market clients.
  • 5+ years demonstrated knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • High School Diploma required and Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience is preferred, designations encouraged.
  • Effective negotiation skills and placement process management expertise.
  • Property & Casualty License.
  • Extensive knowledge of how insurance products are utilized and administered.
  • Extensive knowledge of markets and marketing techniques.
  • Proficiency with agency management software (Sagitta, Image Right).
