Overview
APeX Patient Access Application Analyst Cadence at UCSF Health. This role focuses on supporting, configuring, and optimizing Epics Cadence module with emphasis on scheduling, referrals, and self-scheduling workflows. The candidate should have hands-on Cadence build and support experience, along with expertise in referral management and patient self-scheduling, with strong preference for experience supporting or building Epic Ambulatory Orders workflows.
Responsibilities
- Configure and optimize Cadence module, including scheduling, referrals, and self-scheduling workflows.
- Design, implement, and maintain application components; develop workflows and decision trees; validate conversion data; perform testing and analyze impact of new Epic releases.
- Identify integrated system needs, resolve cross-application issues, and support improvements to the patient access experience; collaborate across integrated Epic applications.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and training.35 years of related Clinical Applications experience or equivalent.Epic Cadence certification required.Broad knowledge of one or more clinical applications focus areas; experience with system design, development, implementation, user support, training, maintenance, QA, and testing.Strong problem-resolution, analytical, and communication skills; ability to train and support users at all levels.Detail-oriented with solid time management and ability to meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with senior staff and managers as a technical resource; ability to advise on functionality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, policy, and performance.Certifications : Epic Referral & Authorization, Epic MyChart, Epic Decision Tree Badge, Epic Ambulatory certification (preferred).License / Certification
