This role primarily serves 4th and 5th grade students.
We are also seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 1099 independent contractor position to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Position Overview
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, supporting students from elementary to high school. You'll manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborate with educators and families, and provide high-quality therapy services to help students thrive.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in elementary school settings.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify communication challenges and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and parent conferences to share insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated on current best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply (supervision available).
- Experience with school-aged populations and familiarity with IEPs are preferred.
