Description :
The position requires expertise in dysphagia management.
Experience in patient safety is essential.
Candidates should be knowledgeable in aural rehabilitation.
Functional maintenance programs must be understood.
In-service training for staff and patient / family education is required.
Evaluation tools such as BIMS and oral peripheral exam experience are necessary.
Familiarity with billing and documentation practices is important.
Home health experience is required, with OASIS training preferred.
The role involves providing skilled home care visits to patients across various age groups.
Candidates should be willing to cover multiple areas for patient visits.
The daily patient load consists of 6 to 8 visits.
The patients range from acute and chronic adolescent to geriatric individuals.
Mandatory compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
A flu shot or declination form is also required.
Mask-wearing is mandatory while working.
Team collaboration with various healthcare disciplines is a key aspect of this role.
Familiarity with charting systems is preferred.
Candidates must be able to self-schedule their appointments and visits based on the needs of the home care office.
The position requires ongoing education and training in relevant therapeutic practices.
