NWON is seeking Contractual Mental Health Therapists to join our team! You will work from a recovery framework within the team, providing individual and group psychotherapy using psychotherapeutic interventions, cultural sensitivity, and trauma informed care to help individuals reach their recovery goals.
Responsibilities :
- Establishes open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
- Provides recovery-oriented screenings and comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments
- Offers assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
- Views individuals from a strengths approach in preparation of treatment plans, with a focus on recovery.
- Implements and reviews treatment plans
- Collaborates with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
- Ensures all documentation is completed in a timely manner
- Completes all clinical documentation and other required paperwork according to required time frames and according to program guidelines
Qualifications :
Must have a master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in behavioral health / substance use fieldFull certification as an addiction counselor or a co-occurring disorder professional by a statewide certification body that is a member of a National Certification BodyValid PA State Criminal, FBI, Child Abuse clearances.Must have a current ACT 31 (Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse Certificate).Company Description
