We’re working with an early-stage, VC-backed consumer startup that is creating real-world experiences to bring people together. They’re now looking for a Head of Operations to take ownership of one of their key markets and help drive growth from the ground up.
The role
- Lead operations in your city, covering partnerships, logistics, venues, customer support, and community experience
- Build and manage venue and curator relationships
- Launch and scale the market, delivering 15–30+ live experiences per month
- Analyse data and feedback to optimise offerings
- Implement growth initiatives to increase membership
What they’re looking for
1–5 years’ experience in operations, partnerships, product, customer success, or sales at a startup (ideally consumer / marketplace) OR consulting (McKinsey, PwC, Deloitte, etc.)Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making (SQL a plus)Passion for in-person human connections and building communitiesEntrepreneurial mindset with proven ownership and initiativeBonus : founded a project or company in events, hospitality, consumer, fashion, or musicExperience in consumer marketplace startups such as Uber, DoorDash, Sofar SoundsNote this is not a supply chain position.Package
Salary : $80K–$120K
Equity : 0.05–0.1%
Must already be based in Boston or Austin (or have strong ties to the city)
