What You Will Do

Join the central Platform Engineering team, focused on scaling infrastructure and improving developer experience.

Drive the development of multi-cloud, multi-tenant systems and CI / CD infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tooling.

Implement and support cloud security practices, scalable compute infrastructure, and DevOps workflows.

Own the lifecycle of platform tools and collaborate with engineering teams to adopt and scale their usage.

Participate in on-call rotations (once every 6–7 weeks) and contribute to a blameless, high-velocity incident response culture.

Operate in a fast-paced, high-trust environment with meaningful autonomy and high impact from day one.

Ideal Candidate Background

7–10 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Infra Engineer in cloud-first organizations.

Strong experience in Kubernetes cluster management (including upgrades, Helm, Istio, ArgoCD) and Terraform module development.

Hands-on experience with GCP (1+ year required); experience with AWS or Azure is a bonus.

Background in fast-paced startup environments or growth-stage companies with high shipping velocity.

Experience building and maintaining CI / CD pipelines for infrastructure and application code deployments.

Proficient in backend languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or Node.js.

Comfortable working cross-functionally and owning technical decisions in production environments.

Preferred

Experience across multiple cloud platforms (e.g., GCP + AWS)

Prior work in regulated environments (FedRAMP, PCI compliance)

Experience at government-adjacent organizations or VA health systems is a major bonus

History of 3+ year tenures in recent roles; avoids frequent short stints

Demonstrated success driving infra projects from 0 to 1

Prior experience with tools like ArgoCD, Terragrunt, Octopus Deploy, or Travis CI

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range : $162,000 – $260,000
