Summary :

We're in search of a Business Analyst 1, who has 2+ years of related accounting experience with previous financial experience is preferred. Proficient in Excel required. Have accounting experience utilizing SAP Software (Preferred). Bi-lingual Korean / English (Verbal / Written) required.

Location : Santa Ana, CA 92707

Duration : 12+ Month contract

Status : Hybrid (Mon - Thur)

  • The Financial Analyst will assist CE (VD, DA)'s monthly forecasting & closing process as well as financial reporting directly to management. Supporting alongside CE Finance & AR Manager, this role will assist the financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, closing, ad hoc accounting, and various relevant duties.

Key Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Conduct business forecasts, including comprehensive forecasts of overhead expenses as well as of business environmental changes to provide better financial visibility to management.
  • Prepare and perform month-end closing from a managerial standpoint, using SAP Controlling (CO) module while closely monitoring expenses / cost allocation of various profit segments / cost centers.
  • Prepare internal monthly Managerial Reports to provide financial and operational insights for performance monitoring, improved decision-making, and strategic planning.
  • By reviewing monthly / quarterly / yearly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and other financial reports, conduct actual vs. target gap analysis in order to track sales and cost fluctuations.
  • Investigate irregular financial trends by linking financial information with business results, performing variance analyses, and maintaining close communication with relevant business teams / divisions to identify the root cause.
  • During monthly forecast process, review and analyze Sales / Marketing data (price change, quantity change, SD / marketing spend) to understand the business impact for communication with CFO / controller and HQ GBM counterparts.
  • Submit purchase orders for monthly expenses and maintain communication with vendors.
  • Establish and document business procedures for workflow efficiency.
  • Miscellaneous relevant duties not listed, as needed.

    • Skills And Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or a related field from a four-year college or university.
  • 2+ years of related accounting experience with previous financial experience is preferred.
  • Must have Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications experience.
  • Proficient in Excel required.
  • Have accounting experience utilizing SAP Software (Preferred).
  • Bi-lingual Korean / English (Verbal / Written) required.
  • Ability to apply mathematical principles as needed.
  • Ability to analyze business trends and communicate information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.

    • A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $28 to 30 / hour
