Shipping And Receiving Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist. This role involves a combination of tasks to efficiently move materials within our plant and warehouse using gas or electric-powered forklift trucks. You will be responsible for cycle counts, utilizing an RF Scanner, and performing tasks related to shipping and receiving. Additionally, you will assist in the metal finishing department and provide support as a shop helper during downtime.

Responsibilities

Operate gas or electric-powered forklift trucks to move, stack, load, or unload materials.

Perform cycle counts and use an RF Scanner.

Assist in the metal finishing department as needed.

Provide support as a shop helper to ensure a full 40-hour workweek.

Utilize hand tools and demonstrate mechanical skills or aptitude.

Fill in wherever needed within the warehouse and plant.

Essential Skills

1.5 years of forklift experience.

Experience with cycle counting and RF Scanner.

Basic computer skills.

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is in an industrial warehouse setting with a first shift from Monday to Thursday, 5 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, and a second shift from Monday to Thursday, 3 : 30 pm to 2 : 00 am. Employees are expected to work in a dynamic and collaborative setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
