Role : GHX Implementations Lead

Duration 12 Months

Location : USA-REMOTE

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Techno-Functional Process Lead to drive GHX platform implementations in a hospital or healthcare provider setting. This role blends technical integration expertise with business process leadership, focusing on optimizing procurement workflows, contract management, and financial ledger alignment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of customer-facing GHX implementations, deep understanding of EDI standards, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams toward process standardization and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Process Optimization Standardization

Analyze current-state procurement and supply chain processes; identify gaps and inefficiencies.

Design and implement future-state workflows aligned with GHX capabilities and hospital goals.

Develop and enforce standardized procedures for contract management, item master maintenance, and vendor onboarding.

GHX Implementation Integration

Lead end-to-end implementation of GHX solutions (Exchange, NuVia, Procure, etc.) across hospital systems.

Collaborate with IT teams to configure and integrate GHX with ERP systems (e.g., Lawson, Oracle, SAP).

Ensure accurate setup and testing of EDI transactions (810, 850, 855, 856, 997) and troubleshoot integration issues.

Customer Engagement Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary liaison between hospital stakeholders and GHX teams.

Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and status meetings with clinical, procurement, and finance departments.

Translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.

Procurement Financial Alignment

Ensure GHX implementation aligns with procurement policies, contract terms, and financial ledger structures.

Collaborate with finance teams to validate invoice matching, PO accuracy, and spend visibility.

Support compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and healthcare regulations.

Required Qualifications :

10+ years of experience working in the capacity of Lead for driving GHX implementations or other EDI platform exposure within healthcare provider environments.

Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes, contract lifecycle management, and financial ledgers.

Proven experience in EDI integration and troubleshooting (X12 standards).

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Lawson, Oracle, SAP, Workday).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change in complex environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

GHX certifications or formal training.

Experience working with IDNs, academic medical centers, or large hospital systems.

Familiarity with HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare compliance standards.

PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
