Experience & Qualifications
8 10 years of experience in U.S. pricing
ACAS or close to Associateship from the Casualty Actuarial Society
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Consulting experience is a plus
Role and Responsibilities
This role is ideal for a seasoned pricing professional with 8 10 years of experience in leading pricing strategy and execution for commercial lines insurance products. The individual will apply actuarial expertise to develop competitive and profitable pricing models, support regulatory filings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. Key responsibilities include :
Design and maintain pricing models for commercial lines such as General Liability, Commercial Auto etc.
Conduct rate adequacy studies and profitability analyses to ensure sustainable pricing.
Develop loss cost models and apply predictive analytics to forecast future claims.
Prepare and support regulatory rate filings, including documentation and impact analysis.
Collaborate with underwriting, product, and finance teams to align pricing with business goals.
Lead pricing initiatives for new product launches and enhancements.
Perform scenario testing and sensitivity analysis to evaluate pricing outcomes.
Support automation and process improvement initiatives in pricing workflows.
