Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Service Representative for a local bank in Cookeville.

A Bank Teller and Financial Service Representative’s primary responsibility is customer service. This role requires knowledge of a wide range of bank operations and the ability to answer customer questions confidently and accurately.

Other duties may include :

• Recording transactions, including logging checks and preparing transaction reports
• Counting and packaging currency
• Reconciling cash drawers
• Opening new accounts and assisting with loan applications
• Exchanging foreign currency
• Promoting the bank’s products and services
• Maintaining confidentiality of customer information
• Communicating with other bank team members
• Helping customers with home banking, resetting PINs / passwords, troubleshooting phone banking, and setting up bill pay accounts
