About The Position

Job Title : Monitor Technician

Hours per Shift : 7.5 hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year of acute care experience; at least 2 total years of experience

License : AHA BLS required

Certifications : EKG Certification required

Must-Have :

• 1 year of acute care experience
• Experience with vital signs
• Ability to watch and read rhythm strips on monitors for heart anomalies
• Continuous observation and interpretation of cardiac waveforms, rhythms, and measurements
• Communication and documentation skills

Description :

Candidate must have at least 1 year of acute care experience.

A total of at least 2 years of healthcare-related experience is required.

Candidates must be capable of taking and monitoring vital signs.

The role involves the continuous observation of heart rhythms and the identification of any anomalies.

Interpretation of cardiac waveforms and measurements is essential.

Effective communication regarding patient status is necessary.

Documentation of all relevant observations and actions is required.

A high school diploma or GED is required.

The shift time is from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM.

Rotating weekends and the ability to report as scheduled, including holidays, are mandatory.
