Job Description

The Manager - International Tax Governance position will bear primary responsibility for advising our HVAC business unit and its subsidiaries on issues related to international tax law in the areas of transfer pricing and permanent establishments, as well as the resulting compliance requirements. This will require coordination and review cross-border business transactions concerning the various tax requirements. In addition, this position will act as the tax governance interface with the business in close collaboration. This includes, but is not limited to :

• Defining global tax regulations for transfer pricing and permanent establishment matters, including risk management guidelines the business unit.
• Actively support the business unit to implement the tax governance requirements and monitor the implementation.
• Manage tax audits and conduct tax compliance trainings.
• Maintain close communication with global team to assess issues and conceptually develop and refine standards.

This position has a dual reporting line into the US tax department and the global tax department in Germany. Must be able to accommodate time zone differences. Travel 5-10%.
