• Proficient in technical skills utilized during Interventional Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology, or Interventional Radiology procedures
• Experience in angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring
• Familiarity with policies and procedures of Cardiovascular Services

Description :

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist RN performs within the scope of an RN license.

They conduct a wide range of technical skills during various procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.

The CVIS RN is proficient in all aspects of angiography and related procedures.

They prepare and assess patients while documenting and monitoring their status.

The role requires participation in a call rotation for the STEMI program.

As part of the orientation, the new hire will participate in Buddy call training.

They will manage a patient ratio of 1 : 4.

On-call duties will include a minimum of 10 days per month after the orientation period.

No weekend work is required.

RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 10 days, with additional parameters outlined.

Candidates should be skilled in various invasive procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology.

They must adhere to safety protocols and provide patient education as needed.

The environment is fast-paced, requiring strong critical thinking and clinical skills.

Team collaboration and communication are essential to ensure the best patient outcomes.
