Position Overview

Franklin Primary Health Care, a trusted community clinic in Foley, AL, is seeking a Locum Tenens Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide quality outpatient care. This role focuses on scheduled and walk-in adult patients in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Assignment Details

Start Date : ASAP

Duration : 3 months

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

Setting : Outpatient clinic (no call)

Patient Volume : patients per day

Patient Population : Adults (17+)

Common Cases : Bread-and-butter primary care, diabetes, hypertension, and chronic condition management

Support Team : Family Practice Nurse, CNAs, and MA

EMR : EPIC (2 3 days training provided)

Provider Requirements

Discipline : MD or DO

Specialty : Family Medicine (preferred), Internal Medicine, or General Practice

Board Status : BC / BE (ABFM or ABIM)

Certifications : DEA and BLS required

Experience : 1+ years preferred; new graduates welcome

Documentation : Timely and accurate charting required

Compensation & Logistics

Rate : $120 / hr

Lodging : Hotel provided during the week

Mileage : Reimbursed

Flights / Rental Car : Not provided
