Description :

A 198-bed level III trauma center providing extensive healthcare services.

The facility offers medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services.

Additional services include a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, and an inpatient behavioral health unit.

The center is known for its state-of-the-art operating suites and quality care.

The endoscopy unit provides care for adults with mid to high acuity needs.

Patient ratios are 1 : 2, ensuring focused attention on each patient.

RNs in the endoscopy unit must have competencies in various critical actions, including biopsy, balloon dilation, and stent placements.

Experience with colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and bronchoscopy procedures is required.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate troubleshooting abilities and proactive assistive behaviors in a team setting.

Additional procedural tech experience is a must for potential applicants.

Endoscopy nurses are integral to delivering quality care before, during, and after procedures.

The position may require floating to pre-op if case loads in endoscopy are low.

Strong communication skills are essential to support team dynamics and patient care.
