LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice PA in Connecticut!

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Family Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Connecticut, starting Oct 6, 2025. This challenging role involves a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, where you will manage a patient panel in a community health setting, focusing on under-served populations with complex health needs, including substance abuse and comorbidities.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage own panel of patients, including those on pain medication
  • Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population
  • Handle electronic medical records using eClinicalWorks
  • Ensure timely documentation and management of at least 20 patient visits per day
  • Address possible substance abuse and dual diagnosis issues

  • Required Board Certifications : Family Medicine
  • Minimum Experience : 2-3 years for PA
  • Other Required Certifications : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
