Location : Wichita, KS 67220 (Kansas nursing jobs)

Unit : Med / Surg (Telemetry T4 / 634)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1360 - $1460

Unit Size : 26 beds

Patient Ratio : 1 : 5

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kansas or compact state)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

ACLS and NIH Stroke Certification preferred

Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Outgoing, team-oriented personality

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care to Med / Surg patients in a 26-bed hospital unit

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, Patient Care Techs, and Charge Nurses

Utilize medical equipment such as lifts, wheelchairs, gait belts, and walkers / canes

Document patient care accurately using EMR systems

Assist with common procedures : TURPs, gastric bypass, joint replacement, post-hysterectomy, and gallbladder / appendectomy cases

Support, mentor, and train new nursing staff members

Promote a positive patient experience and contribute to staff satisfaction
