Surgical Services Manager
The Surgical Services Manager provides operational and nursing leadership ensuring the quality of patient care within the Perioperative units. This includes overseeing nursing staff, managing patient care activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in Pre-Op, OR, PACU, Short Stay, Sterile Supply & Infusion. The Surgical Services Manager collaborates with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and enhance the efficiency of departmental operations.
This is a full-time exempt position.

Education & Experience :
Education :BSN requiredMaster's degree preferredCertification :Certification in clinical area of expertise preferred.License :Current Washington State RN license.Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within six (6) months of hire. ACLS preferred.Experience :Three years prior experience / expertise in clinical area relevant to unit patient population preferredSkills / Competencies :Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Demonstrates competency on equipment listed on department specific checklist.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Critical thinking skills : Seeks resources for direction, when necessary. Occasional prolonged standing / walking.
