Responsibilities

  • Attend work on a regular basis and maintain a predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policies.
  • Produce and proof correspondence, reports, logs, document requests, and other related forms.
  • Attend meetings and transcribe.
  • Assemble, organize, and tabulate data.
  • File and maintain supplies, forms, records, and reports.
  • May perform data entry and retrieval.
  • Assist with HRC meetings.
  • Conduct audits.
  • Send out email with pertinent information / data.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Knowledge of office procedures and of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic.
  • Skill in the use of computers and office equipment.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain records, files, and reports.
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively, both orally and in written form.
  • Knowledge of the facility Operating Procedures Manual (OPM).
  • General knowledge of ICF / IID standards.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Initial Screening Criteria

  • Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' work experience in clerical or administrative duties.
  • Experience with audits.
  • Registrations, Licensure Requirements or Certifications

    None

  • Applicants must pass a fingerprint criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and registry checks including the Client Abuse / Neglect Reporting System (CANRS), Nurse Aide, Medication Aide and Employee Misconduct and HHS List of Excluded Individuals / Entities (LEIE).

  • All State Supported Living Center Employees are subject to Random Drug Testing.
  • Flexibility in work hours may be required for this position. The position may be required to work overtime and / or extended hours. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
