New Energy Nexus is a fast-growing international organization that supports entrepreneurs and startups building breakthrough clean energy solutions to solve climate change. New Energy Nexus Ventures, our investment management arm based in Singapore, specializes in clean energy and climate tech investments. Established in 2020 with the Indonesia 1 Fund, we invest in early-stage clean energy startups across Southeast Asia to support our global vision of achieving 100% clean energy for 100% of the population.

We are seeking an experienced Investment Manager based out of Vietnam, Indonesia, or the Philippines to join our team remotely and drive our current and prospective investment activities in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and early-stage funding mechanisms, combined with passion for renewable energy and sustainable development. The role reports to the Head of Investments with overall supervision from the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

Investment & Portfolio Management Activities (30%)

• Collect, analyze, and manage impact data from portfolio companies to measure progress against sustainability metrics
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned portfolio companies
• Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies to accelerate their growth
• screen, and evaluate potential investment opportunities across the climate tech ecosystem in Southeast Asia

Investor Relations (40%)

Fund Operations (30%)
