Role Description
Position(s) are located at the San Francisco Behavioral Health Center (SFBHC). The SFBHC operates 24 / 7 / 365 and provides subacute and long-term mental health services to the severely and persistently mentally ill population. Programs include an Adult Residential Facility (ARF), a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE), and a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC). This class is a first-line supervisor responsible for providing leadership on clinical standards for Mental Health Rehabilitation Workers, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and Licensed Psychiatric Technicians.
Work hours : The center is open 24 / 7 and requires flexibility to work various 8-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays as coverage need dictates. Under general supervision, the 2314 supervises employees performing patient care duties, personally performs difficult patient care duties, and performs related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet the minimum qualification requirement by the final filing date unless otherwise noted. One-year full-time employment is equivalent to 2,000 hours (based on a 40-hour work week).

Selection Procedures
Minimum Qualification Supplemental Questionnaire (MQSQ) will be required as part of the application. The MQSQ collects information to evaluate MQ compliance. The Training and Experience Evaluation will measure knowledge, skills, and abilities critical for satisfactory performance. A passing score is required to continue in the process. Additional selection processes may be conducted prior to final hiring decisions.
Certification : The eligible list will follow the Rule of the List. Candidate names remain on the list for up to 12 months. Re-applications are allowed after expiry. The SFDPH provides more information at the careers site.
