Team Lead Android Developer (Local to UT)

Android Developer (Team Lead) Salt Lake City, UT (Onsite Hybrid, so need local)

Youll be responsible for leading a team of 4 Android developers in Salt Lake City focusing on leadership, mentorship, code review, architecture / design, and communication excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Android developers; mentor, coach, and conduct code reviews.
  • Design and build high-quality Android applications using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin .
  • Contribute to omni-channel digital experiences across mobile and web.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams.
  • Guide your team through the full development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
  • Drive technical excellence, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Must Haves

  • Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring Android development teams.
  • Expertise in Kotlin , Jetpack Compose , and Android Studio .
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Hands?on experience in code reviews and architectural decision?making.

    • Nice to Haves

  • Experience in Enterprise?scale application environments.
  • Background in Financial Services is a plus.
  • Experience using AI tools like Copilot or Gemini in professional development workflows.
