Senior Supplier Quality Engineer – Castings / Airfoils

Job description :

• Ensure the quality of received components by reviewing supplier-provided data against drawing requirements.
• Generate reports on supplier quality by monitoring their defect rates and identifying areas for potential flaws; guide suppliers to reduce these defect rates.
• Research potential vendors, assess their manufacturing environment, practices, and procedures; conduct supplier quality control audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies and quality certifications (ISO, NADCAP).
• Support suppliers in improving their performance through process enhancements, implementing process controls, and developing quality assurance plans.

Qualifications :

• Master's degree with 3-5 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 4-7 years of experience, or 12 years of equivalent experience with no degree.
• Supplier Quality Engineering experience is a must.
• Experience with investment casting and / or airfoils and blades.
• Audits, corrective actions, supplier development, performance monitoring.
• Root cause analysis, corrective / preventive actions, cross-functional leadership.
• Continuous improvement, workflow optimization, process controls.
• ISO, NADCAP, QA methodologies, quality metrics and reporting.
• Compliance, documentation, policy and procedure alignment.
• Supplier evaluations, certifications, performance and risk management.
• Clear reporting, cross-functional collaboration, supplier engagement.
