Job Summary
The Manager of Provider Credentialing plays a vital role within our Payor Strategy Team. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Credentialing.
Essential Responsibilities
Experience
Bachelor's degree (or required experience) CPCS or CPMSM certified strongly preferred. 5-7 years of progressively responsible management or supervisory level credentialing experience in a health care setting with at least three (3) of these years' experience in a medium to large health system. Excellent verbal & written communications Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills a must. Detail oriented with a strong level of analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Highly self-motivated, directed and proactive. Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies. Able to communicate effectively within department and with members of interdisciplinary teams. Demonstrates ability to lead, manage and motivate teams. In depth knowledge of credentialing + NCQA Standards Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with credentialing software preferred. Annual Salary Range : $75-85k, with a generous benefits package that includes paid time off, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) savings plan with match.
