This Unit will be an Intermediate care unit that cares for a patient population of increased levels of acuity. In this department, you will have the exciting opportunity to care for a wide spectrum of patient populations that meet criteria for Intermediate care .

You will interact and work alongside dedicated intensivist, Advanced Practice Providers, and a complete multidisciplinary team that promotes academic shared learning and career growth.

Estimated timeline :

• Start Dates in June to late Summer
• Open this unit in the Fall of 2025

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
