Under the general supervision of an Administrator I, the Senior Compliance Representative (SCR) performs as a lead person in the PIT Manual Process (PIT MP). The SCR Lead functions as a technical advisor to a team of Compliance Representatives engaged in Personal Income Tax (PIT) collection and compliance work of varying difficulty. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of the work performed by the team and works to ensure that the team's performance supports the bureau and division business plans and departmental goals. The SCR Lead is cross-trained to assist with the monitoring and coordination of internal and external customer contacts, for instance, inbound / outbound calls, and / or correspondence. The SCR Lead may be required to respond to taxpayer calls and correspondence to resolve collections accounts for both Spanish and English taxpayers. Responsibilities also include participating as a team member in the group and in the operational change process with management, peers, and others to identify and resolve work-related issues and on-going process improvements.
