Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized teaching opportunity is available for a licensed professional to provide one-on-one instruction in Health for a homebound high school student. This role requires dual certification in Health and Special Education, specifically for high school grade levels, to effectively address the student's educational needs.

Position Details :

Part-time contract role, approximately 5 hours per week

Services to be delivered during the standard school day

Duration : Immediate start through June 30, 2026

Year-round assignment

Responsibilities :

Deliver individualized Health instruction tailored to a homebound high school student

Develop and implement lesson plans that meet both Health and Special Education standards

Adapt teaching methods and materials to acmodate the student's learning requirements

Monitor and document student progress and municate effectively with relevant stakeholders

Maintain a supportive learning environment conducive to educational growth

Qualifications :

Dual certification in Health and Special Education for high school levels

Experience working with high school students in special education settings preferred

Strong ability to provide personalized instruction in a one-on-one learning format

Excellent munication and organizational skills
