Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Locum Tenens
Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 (or as soon as credentialed)
Employment Type : 1099 Locum Tenens
Contract Length : Ongoing until permanent hire is made
Schedule : Scheduled + On Call
Schedule & Coverage
Blocks : 4-week rotation; 7-day block, 1 week out of every 4
Alternative Option : Local provider for 1 2 days per week considered
Hours : Day shift only; pager call 6 : 30 AM 6 : 30 PM
No Night Call
Average Cases : 3 4 surgical cases per day
Credentialing Timeframe : days (Emergency privileging available with clean file)
Practice Details
Trauma Designation : Level II
EMR : Epic
Reason for Coverage : Physician resignation; need coverage while replacing and hiring additional provider
Cases : Bread and butter trauma; pelvic trauma experience preferred but not required
Procedures / Skills Required :
Geriatric fractures (including neck)
General trauma cases
Inpatient consults and rounding expected
No clinic duties (subject to change)
Strong support staff with multiple PAs assisting in OR and rounding
Provider Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship Training : Orthopedic Trauma Surgery required
Trauma-trained providers only
Will consider candidates straight out of residency
Licensure : Washington state license or IMLC (licensing support available)
Additional Information
